Art Is An Adventure! I have grown to really enjoy the creativeness of the abstract expressionist style. Perhaps it was the influence of my aunt Virginia MacRae who was a local Tampa Bay award winning abstract artist in the 50’s and 60’s. I find myself drawn to the emotions of bright colors, surfaces in motion, vibrant moods, nebulous forms sometimes rendered with some mild impressionist influences, which I apply by brush, palate knife and other techniques. Many of my works are large 36 by 48 inch statement pieces set in both horizontal and vertical viewpoints, perfect for that large wall in a home or business. I am very prolific so there will always be something new in the studio.
